Restaurant Reservations

🚫Meal expenses are not included.
Reservation service for local-favorite restaurants that require a Japanese phone number and native communication. Includes follow-up, menu translation, and dish recommendations.
Cultural Experience Setup

From tea ceremonies to artisan workshops, we help arrange authentic local experiences, many of which require Japanese communication or on-site contacts. Includes reservation support and coordination.

All services are priced per trip or group, based on trip length, complexity, and the number of travelers. We never take commissions from bookings — our focus is value and transparency. You’re free to start with just one service or combine as needed.

Q: Does the core itinerary include hotel and restaurant recommendations? Why are there add-ons?
Yes, we provide tailored hotel and restaurant suggestions within your itinerary based on your preferences and route. However, some local favorites—especially those highly rated by locals—require reservations via a Japanese mobile number and communication in Japanese. These are not easily accessible to foreign travelers. Our add-on service covers these bookings, including follow-up calls, menu translation, and personalized dish recommendations, ensuring a seamless and authentic experience.
Q: What’s the difference between BeJapan’s restaurant picks and ones I can find online?
Many restaurants recommended in popular online guides are geared toward tourists and often come with inflated prices. In contrast, our recommendations focus on hidden gems favored by locals and insiders—places where you get better value for equally excellent quality. Q: Is your support fully remote?
Most planning is remote, but we also offer in-person support in Japan upon request.
Q: How do I pay?
We accept Stripe, PayPal, or bank transfer. You only pay after we present your first proposal and you’re ready to proceed.
